PTFE Lined Tube

The excellent lubricity of PTFE makes it the best material for lining conduit cavities. Traditional production methods result in low mechanical strength and are prone to inconsistencies. Our PTFE lined tubing has high strength and consistency. Ultra-thin wall tubing to meet critical conduit dimensional requirements. PTFE lined tubing has an optimised etching treatment to enhance adhesion.

Features:

-High tensile strength and consistent elongation (tensile control) resulting in a higher yield rate during lamination

-Higher tensile strength / more consistent stretching prevents the insertion / delivery of equipment stuck in the conduit shaft

-Increased abrasion resistance and scratch/tear resistance compared to dipping or film casting processes

-Customisable internal diameters (0.30 mm - 3.0 mm, wall thicknesses from 19 μm to 50 μm)

-Meets USP Class VI standards

-Microcatheters for embolic coil delivery

-Catheters for delivery of stents or heart valves

-Lumen for traction catheter wire

-PTCA guide catheters

-PFO sheaths
