1.3x FEP Heat Shrink Tube

Overview:

KMT-FEP is a clear, semi-rigid heat shrink tubing made from modified Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene (FEP), which is the standard for use in the conduit shaft and bonding joint industry.

Available in shrinkage ratios of 1.3:1, 1.6:1 and 2:1, these FEP heat shrink tubes are manufactured to the same high standards and characteristics as our other heat shrink tube products, supplied in an expanded state, after a short heating they will tightly wrap/wrap set in complex irregular forms to form a fully enclosed strong covering. Heat shrinkage can be accomplished by a variety of methods, from heat guns to ovens (but ovens provide the most uniform shrinkage). Miniature sizes are available and custom specifications and tolerances can be made on request.

FEP heat shrink tubing jackets extend the life of the parts being coated as they provide protection against extremes of heat, humidity, corrosion and shock, providing a tight and protective encapsulation for a wide range of components. It has high dielectric strength and is chemically inert. In the medical field, FEP heat shrink tubing is an ideal manufacturing aid during the rheological moulding of catheter jackets and can be easily removed afterwards.
